About Katie B

Im an abstract artist and photographer located in Austin, Texas. Ive always been an artist at heart, but I could never draw and that always frustrated me. However, somehow I ended up finding a passion for photography.

Since I was little I've always had some sort of camera in my hand, whether it was a disposable or automatic film camera, or my many cheap point and shoot cameras, I was photographing everything and annoying my family! Especially my sister when we went on vacations. I'm glad I still have this passion after all this time.

Finding abstract painting in my adult life has been another creative outlet for me that has helped me through some challenging times in my life and I'm glad I can share the work that came from those struggles.
